Tips regarding the orientation of artwork... horizontal or vertical groupings.

Tuesday, October 20, 2009

It's important to think not only about the content of the art you are planning on hanging in your home, but also to think about the effect you want that art to have on the overall space.

Creating strong horizontal lines through the use of artwork, either within the art istelf, or in the way the art piece or pieces are framed or hung, lead to a more calming effect and can create the illusion of width in a narrow room.
