If you really want a unique room, choose a theme to decorate around. Themes can be dramatic, such as vintage 30s decor, or subtle such as a floral garden. Some popular decor themes for various roms include horses, geckos, southwestern flavor, dragonfly decor, the sun and moon, even hot air balloons.... the sky's the limit when you want to create a thematic space.
